Hampshire County Council has re-tendered the Ashmansworth Taxishare Service, and we are pleased to share with you the updated details in the attached document.

The Ashmansworth Taxishare service takes passengers to Newbury and will operate on Monday & Friday.

The area covered by this service includes the following bus stops:

• The junction of Barn Close/A343 (Ashmansworth)
• Crux Easton Farm (Crux Easton)
• Highclere Star Lane (Highclere)
• Outside Yew Tree Inn (Hollington Cross)
• East End War Memorial, adjacent (East End)
• Heath End Village Hall, N-bound (Health End)
• Knights Ln, (Ball Hill)
• Gainsborough Stud Farm (Woolton Hill)
• Broad Laying The Stores & PO (Broad Laying)
• Gainsborough Stud Farm (Woolton Hill)
• Penwood Old Police House (Penwood)
• Breachfield, Harts Lane (Burghclere)
• Opposite Sydmonton Court (Sydmonton)
• Royal Oak, Ecchinswell Road (Ecchinswell).

Residents must register with Hampshire County Council before using the service. Passengers already registered on the previous Ashmansworth service do not need to re-register.

The service will commence on Monday, 12 January 2026 and operates on a pre-booked basis only.
